Maintenance

Each apartment will receive professional painting, cleaning, and carpet clean. The final touches will be completed by our own maintenance and office staff to ensure that your home is ready for you!

You will never need to be present for service to be performed! Our trained service technicians are able to independently complete your service requests. If you prefer to be present, you may request a time frame on a specific day that you would like the work to be completed and we will do our best to accomodate you.

Our on-site maintenance team is available 8 AM to 5 PM for routine maintenance and 24 hours for emergency maintenance.

Service requests are simple to submit through your online resident portal! If you are unable to log in, you may contact the leasing office directly. For emergency or after-hours service requests, you may call (757) 378-1800.

If you come to the office and can identify yourself as a lease holder with a valid government issued ID, we will be able to let you into your apartment. However, if it is after hours you will be required to contact a locksmith.

Amenities

We issue one parking decal per lease holder at the time of move-in. This decal gives you permission to park in any parking space at our community. All guest must park on Reserve Way, the street in front of our property, as we do not have guest parking spaces or guest passes.

Our pool season is from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The pool and outdoor seating areas are available for use between 8 AM and 8 PM each day during the pool season.

Yes! We allow a maximum of 2 pets per apartment. Pet fees and breed restrictions apply.

Your apartment will feature GE stainless steel appliance package that includes a refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, and dishwasher. We also provide you with a washer and dryer at no additional cost!

We do not offer furnished apartments. However, you can rent furniture through our partner, Cort Furniture at www.cort.com

Admin

We strive to respond to all applications within 2 business days. Once we have all of your information we are able to screen each applicant for a criminal and credit background check. The screening results can take between 2 and 5 business days to be returned to our office.

You are required to pay rent through our secure online resident portal. We also partner with Flex Pay, a service that enables you to split monthly rental payments into smaller installments.

We do require all residents to maintain an active renter's insurance policy. This must be provided to our leasing team on or before your move-in date. Those who do not provide our office with a renter's insurance policy will automatically be enrolled in our liability waiver program with a $13 monthly fee.

Cable and Internet service will be provided by Cox Communications. The Cox representatives' information will be provided when we send you your lease agreement.

You may terminate your lease agreement early by providing a 60-day written notice and paying an early termination fee, equal to 2 month's of your rental payment.

Prior to move-in, you must contact Dominion Energy to start service in your name effective your lease start date. Water/Sewer will be set up for you by our staff prior to move in. We will provide you with the contact information for a Cox Communications representative who will take care of all of your cable and internet needs.

All utilities are the resident's responsibility. For example, electric, water/sewer, cable, and Internet.

Location

Yes, WATA has a bus stop located about 1/4 mile away from our property.

We are in the York County School District. The Whitworth is zoned for Waller Mill Elementary, Queen's Lake Middle School, and Bruton High School.

Directions

If you are coming off of Interstate 64, you can find us off of Exit 134. If you are cruising around town, we are right off of Mooretown Road. When driving down Mooretown road you will turn onto Reserve Way, go past Verena at the Reserve and turn left onto Whitworth Way to arrive at our Club House. If you are driving down Richmond Road, you will need to go over the bridge on Bypass Road, turn left onto Waller Mill Road, turn left onto Mooretown Road, then turn right onto Reserve Way.
